Horizons Academy & Outschool - Expanding Learning Opportunities

At Horizons Academy, we are committed to ensuring that education continues, even in the most challenging circumstances. This year, our agility in securing critical partners has been central to that mission, enabling us to provide uninterrupted learning no matter the obstacles.

During the war in Gaza, many of our students had no access to education, yet Horizons acted swiftly to keep them on track. Our partnership with Outschool, a global online learning platform connecting students with expert instructors, proved vital. Outschool immediately offered Advanced Placement (AP) classes online, ensuring that our students could continue learning and remain on course for university applications.

Since then, the collaboration has deepened. With targeted funding for instruction, Outschool has provided Horizons students with qualified, passionate educators in subjects such as creative writing, enhancing both their skills and their academic experience. Looking ahead, Outschool instructors will also lead courses in TOEFL and SAT preparation, equipping our students with the tools they need to succeed in higher education.
