Exploring New Avenues - Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

2025 marked a year of remarkable achievements at Horizons Academy, as we continued to create life-changing opportunities for Palestinian students seeking higher education abroad. One of the most significant milestones this year was our successful collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a top-tier institution renowned for its excellence in engineering, technology, and artificial intelligence. This partnership, facilitated with the generous support of the Bseiso Foundation and the coordination of Enquest, has provided 10 full ride scholarships to Palestinian students to pursue their academic dreams at UTM.

Through this partnership, Horizons Academy provided comprehensive guidance and support to students, from selecting suitable programs to preparing their applications and securing scholarships. Our dedicated team ensured that every student was matched with a program aligned with their interests and aspirations, empowering them to pursue fields such as AI, engineering, and other cutting-edge technologies. Thanks to this concerted effort, eight students will now embark on an exciting academic journey fully supported by the Bseiso Foundation scholarship. 

The students themselves have expressed deep appreciation for the opportunities and experiences at UTM. Saif Moqbel, one of the scholarship recipients, shared his journey: 

“Malaysia is a very great country. People here are so kind and lovely. It is peaceful and safe, far from global chaos, and the community welcomes us warmly. It’s also easy to find food we enjoy, including Arabic cuisine. UTM itself is a university with great potential, instilling passion in every student for their chosen field. It excels in engineering, technology, and AI, making it an ideal place for Palestinian students seeking opportunities that match their passions. UTM’s global reputation is growing rapidly, it ranked 181 last year in the QS ranking and rose to 153 this year, winning international competitions and opening new branches.”

This achievement represents only the beginning of Horizons Academy’s vision to open new educational horizons in Asia. We are exploring further collaborations across the continent to provide Palestinian students with world-class opportunities, diverse cultural experiences, and pathways to global careers. By guiding students to programs that align with their passions and providing access to full scholarships, we are helping shape the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
